Simplicity in the NorthwoodsENQUIRE
Enjoy the simplicity of life away from the city. With all the comforts of modern day living, but we sprinkle in experiences to take us back to a time when life had fewer distractions and we worked with our hands more. You'll get to run a chainsaw, split wood with an axe, sweat it out in the sauna and polar plunge (the cook kids call this Fire and Ice). Take cross country skis out or snow shoes for some old fashioned cardio! We'll end the days with meaningful conversations around the fire.
Space, margin, good old fashioned hard work (but not too much), fire and ice, campfires and intentional conversations!
The nearest airport is Fargo, North Dakota! We'll bring the group together for a delicious private meal at the Jasper Hotel.
We will leave Fargo at 9am and take the 90 minute drive into the Northwoods. Get settled into our cozy accommodations and enjoy a homemade hearty lunch!
After lunch we'll get to work with running chainsaws and splitting wood (you know, guy stuff). Once we finish up some manual labor, we'll hit the sauna and balance that with cold water therapy (aka polar plunging).
Dinner will be prepared and served as a group by the fire.
All outdoor activities
Wake up according to when your body tells you! Early risers can enjoy a cup of coffee as the sun rises or get some fresh air outside. Sleep in if you'd like!
Mid morning we'll hit cross country ski trails and/or snow shoe trails!
Lunch and early afternoon will be spent exploring a nearby authentic small town. Comfort food lunch, a beer, and a slow agenda!
Dinner will again be prepared and served as a group! Fire and conversation led by Kyle Depiesse (Guys Trip Founder) to follow.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Conversation over breakfast. What makes these trips transformative is how we conclude our time together. You'll get a chance to choose ONE thing you want to be held accountable for. And we'll hold you to it when we see each other again over a virtual happy hour in 30 days!
We'll leave the Northwoods in time for you to catch a flight out of Fargo.
