Overview

This is an adventure and wellness trip mashed together! Tofino is located on the western edge of Vancouver Island in the Canadian providence of British Columbia. It's raw, rugged and beautiful! You'll experience the full power of the Pacific Ocean on Tofino's vast sandy beaches and walk through ancient rainforests that calm the spirit. This trip will awaken your sense of wonder! We'll surf (lessons included), hike and sauna and cold plunge over 3 full days. We've even reserved a floating sauna that will be just for our group! Tofino has something for everyone! In addition to the incredible experiences and activities curated for the group, we'll go through Guys Trip Personal Balance Sheets at night around the fire. These conversations are what guys repeatedly say is the most transformative part of the trip!

Husband, Father and entrepreneur.  Driven by a passion to create experiential learning for all participants.  After 13 years of Corporate America, Kyle got burned out climbing the ladder and chasing what he thought was his definition of success.  Only to find out, he was climbing the wrong ladder.

After a season of teaching in the public school, Kyle took the ultimate promotion to a stay at home dad!  From there, he started designing transformational containers for guys to step in to and help them define their own version of success while going on epic adventures with other world-class guys!

Night 1: Dinner kickoff

The trip OFFICIALLY begins with a commuter flight from Vancouver to Tofino at 1:30pm.  If you are unable to arrive with enough time to catch that flight, you will have a 3:45pm flight available.  

We work with each guy to make sure flight times and schedules are not a stressful event!

If you prefer, you may arrive into Vancouver the day before and enjoy the city!

Once we arrive at our Resort, a kick off dinner will follow.

Day 2: Surf and Sauna

Rise and shine!  We'll meet for a group breakfast in the main cabin.

Group surf lessons followed by open surfing until lunch.

After lunch, we'll prioritize wellness with saunas, cold plunges, breathwork and stretching.

Day 3: Hike and Surf

Half day hiking followed by a half day surfing.

*Schedule could change based on weather.

Day 4: Floating Sauna and Choose Your Adventure

Transfer out to our private floating sauna rental in the middle of the lake.

The afternoon will be open to either hike, surf or wellness activities at the resort.

Dinner at the main lodge with Personal Balance Sheet conversations to follow.

Day 5: Breakfast and Travel Day

Final group breakfast.

Shuttle back to the airport and we'll get you back to Vancouver to catch your flight back home!  

The flight back into Vancouver is scheduled to arrive at 2:35pm.

FAQs

We've rented Rainforest Cabins at the resort.  They are 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom fully functioning cottages.  One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two queens.  You can upgrade to the king bed master room at checkout if you prefer your own room.

Each cottage has about 1,000 square feet of space with a small kitchen, dining room, multiple tvs, gas fireplace and an outdoor hot tub!

The price quoted is for double occupancy rooms.  You'll share a room with another participant and have your own bed.  Single occupancy rooms will be available for a surcharge.

All breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included.  If you want to supplement these meals with snacks that will be at your discretion, but is not included.

Alcohol is not really a thing on Guys Trips.  Adding alcohol has a tendency to diminish the experience not enhance it.

A post surf and hike celebratory/recovery beer will be included as we toast to our accomplishments!

Each traveler will need Out Of Country Emergency Medical Insurance with a minimum coverage of $200,000 USD.  You can buy this anywhere.

A place to start is Trawick; they offer good low cost options, along with additional coverages like trip cancellation, cancel for any reason etc
